Liqueur
Liqueur is made by using a base spirit to which fruit and herbs are added. In the initial phase of liqueur prodiction, a strong spirit with a high alcohol percentage is created. Following this, a sugar water solution is added to reduce the percentage thus creating a sweeter alcoholic beverage with a percantage on average between 15-22%. Some of the most common spirits to use in liqueurs are Whiskey, Cognac or Brandy. Liqueur is suitable for cocktail or after the meal as avec.
