In 1954, medical student Jacques Courtin-Clarins developed his first product. It was a massage oil with essential oils and slimming properties. This oil was developed to increase the effectiveness of skin-up tightening massage, and with it the French-owned family company Clarins was founded. The brand focuses on using the best and most active plant extracts. Clarins has a philosophy of listening to women and truly understanding their needs. With a desire to develop safe, natural and highly effective skin care products, Clarins today has a solid position in the market. Travel Retail Norway (TRN) is a Norwegian company, with Norwegian and German ownership. We have run duty-free shops and Travel Value shops at Avinor's largest airports since 2005. Today we are present in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim.
