One stormy night on Ireland’s wild west coast in 1942, a plane bound for New York had to return to County Limerick’s airport. Joe Sheridan, head chef at the restaurant, served coffees with brown sugar, whisky and cream to warm up the weary passengers. After tasting, somebody asked, «Are these Brazilian coffees?» Joe replied, «No, they’re Irish coffees!» Thus, the legend was born. Ready to Serve Irish Coffee, serve heated.
